I wanted to give a brief update on the status of slGoth in-world Magazine. A while ago, my computer suffered a catastrophic failure. This was my only computer capable of running SL, and so my time online has been severely limited to basic functions (web, email). I could rant about how I think the SL client is hard on computer hardware, but I'll spare you. I know this is a disappointment to many, and assuredly I am as well since October is typically Our Month for People in Black (PIBs).
Additionally first life has deemed that my personal finances are also limited and so the estimate on when I will have my computer repaired or replaced is up in the air. You might notice the "advertisement" at the top of these web pages, which is a result of moving the slGoth.com website to a free hosting service while these hard economic times (hopefully) pass. So the slGoth.com website is perfectly usable, and I hope still of value to the SL Gothic community.
My first, and main goal, has always been the slGoth website. The in-world Magazine came as an extra added benefit as many people expressed interest and also we have a huge outpouring of volunteers, writers, and talented designers willing to contribute. This spirit remains, and the Magazine will be published again in-world when I have the resources to implement it.
I want you to stay positive and keep on supporting each other. Whether it be buying things from your favorite creators, participating in their events, visiting each others lands. I have always said even if you can't buy something from someone, your avatar's visit counts a lot for many people - so go do that. As the saying goes, "Your presence is my presents."
Thank you, everyone, for your continued support and enthusiasm.
